OPENING NOTES
Thank you for taking the time to read this handbook. Doing so, You are ensuring your employment at West Hollow Middle School. Please note this privilege can be taken away for violation of these rules and any legitimate reason that may not be in this handbook.


RESTRICTIONS
Restrictions include but are not limited to:
You may not post links to inappropriate sites.
You may not use vulgar language.
You may not use system message or message with out the permission of Mr. Nano or Mr. Jay.
You may not say "tp all".
You may not admin abuse, which is but not limited to:
-Killing
-Gearing




Emergency:
In the event of an emergency,
You must notify Mr. Nano (If he doesn't already know), and follow emergency procedures upon an alarm or alert being sounded.


Dress Code:
No spaghetti straps. No too short shorts. You are required to wear clothing,
Nothing that may include offensive language. Observe the student dress code,
The Principal reserves the right to mark any clothing item as inappropriate for school.


Professionalism:
Please maintain a professional attitude at all times.
Cursing (using vulgar language) is not permitted.
Posting links to sites that include cursing or inappropriate content are not permitted.
Punishments are subject to the degree of violation.


IN BETWEEN CLASSES:
ALL staff are required to go to their designated class change position at least 3 times a day.
Exceptions:
Any teacher who does not have to teach that day.


Going AFK:
In the event that you need to go afk for any reason, Please notify office staff and an administrator. Please make your room emergency ready (If you have time, Not required.)
Emergency ready is defined as lockdown ready, But also fire-hazard free. (basically windows are shut and the door is locked, But can be opened quickly in the event of an evacuation.)
Please leave your room in this format when you leave it for a long period of time (1 period or more, Not including lunch. Not required, But safe and may get you cookies or a medal or teacher of the month.)


ABSENCE POLICY:
You are permitted four unknown absences. Substitutes are requested to be on campus. Emergencies are not counted as an unknown absence as long as you notify Mr. Nano.
In the event that you are going to be absent, Please fill out the following format and send it to an administrator (P OR AP)
You may just send the lesson plan and notes to the substitute to the substitute you are requesting.
